Private Pilot License Add-On

This addition is perfect for people holding a Private Pilot fixed wing license already. Skip the written exam by utilizing this program.

General Requirements:

  • Already hold a Private (or higher) Pilot Certificate
  • Hold a Current 3rd Class (or higher) FAA Medical Certificate
  • No FAA Written Exam
  • Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test
  • Complete 30 hours Minimum Flight Time and 5 hrs of Solo Flight

Commercial Pilot License Add-On

Already a fixed-wing commercial pilot? This training is for you! Expand your pilot training into the world of helicopters with our commercial pilot license add-on. You will have commercial privileges upon passing the checkride. Our 141 commercial add-on course is VA approved and the best way to get your Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate.

General Requirements:

  • Already hold a fixed wing commercial pilot certificate
  • Current FAA Medical Certificate
  • Helicopter Instrument Rating not required
  • No FAA Written Exam
  • Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test
  • 30 dual flight hours
  • 5 solo flight hours
  • 10 hours instrument hours

Instrument Rating Add-On

Advance your skill set with our instrument rating add-on! It requires half the instrument flight time our full program does, and allows those already holding an add-on rotary license and fixed-wing instrument rating to apply the instrument rating to their license.

FAA Rating Requirements:

  • Part 141 General requirements
  • Must read, write, understand and speak English
  • Commercial Certificate
  • Current Medical Certificate
  • Initial Instrument Rating
  • Pass an FAA oral and practical flight test
  • Complete 15 hours minimum instrument flight time

CFI Add-On

This course allows Commercial helicopter pilots with a Fixed Wing CFI to add-on the CFI license without taking a written.

General Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 Years Old to Take Practical Flight Test
  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Helicopter Certificate
  • Must Read, Write, Understand, and Speak English
  • Hold a Current FAA Medical Certificate
  • Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test
  • Fixed wing CFI license
  • Complete 25 hours of flight time
