FAA Rating Requirements
General Requirements:
Minimum 18 Years Old to Take Practical Flight Test
Must Read, Write, Understand, and Speak English
Hold a Current FAA Medical Certificate
Passs FAA Written - Knowledge Tests
Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test
Flight Requirements :
Minimum of 1200 hours of flight time
500 hours cross-country
100 hours of night flight of which 15 are in helicopters
200 hours of flight time in helicopters which includes 75 hours as PIC
75 hours of instrument flight, 50 of which must be in flight, 25 in helicopters
3 hours in preparation for the flight test
